What if Friday Night Funkin?
Friday Night Funkin’i s a rhythm game in which focuses on a player character, named “Boyfriend”. Boyfriend has competes against a variety of characters in singing and rapping contests to get to date his love “girlfriend”. Each level in the game is referred to as a week and contains three songs. Each week, boyfriend faces three different opponents.
The game was initially created for the Ludum Dare gaming contest in 2020 by Ninjamuffin99. It was so successful that is became one of the most popular games on Newgrounds, as well as achieving a large following online. A full version of the game is planned for release in early 2022 backed by a Kickstarter campaign.
